Vincennes has many historical attractions that draws visitors. The Indiana Military Museum is at the top of that list. I personally recommend it as a "must see" if you are in the area.
And, what may be of interest to glass collectors, the property and buildings were all acquired from Blackford Glass Co.!

If you pass through Terre Haute on your way to or from the show, make sure to plan a visit to the Vigo County Historical Society.
The building hosts three floors of local artifacts.
On the ground floor, you'll see their most famous exhibit on Root Glass Co, and how they invented what we now know as the Coke Bottle.

Eva Kor was one of "Mengele's Twins" at Auschwitz Concentration Camp, and was subjected to horrible experiments. She survived to tell her story, and to be a voice of other victims of the awful tragedy that was the Holocaust.
Burned by anti-semites in 2003, the museum reopened thanks to Kor's determination in 2005.

When you stand atop the bluff, overlooking Illinois, you certainly don't feel like you're in Indiana. A short hike, and you'll see the historic carvings in the face of the sandstone cliffs.

This beautiful site, maintained by the National Park Service, is a sight to be seen. Pictures just don't do it justice. Learn about Clark and his actions during the American Revolution, as well as Frontier life in Indiana in the 1700's.

Fort Knox II, beautuifully situated on the bank of the Wabash River, was used by the U.S. Army from 1803-1813. The site was commanded by Zachary Taylor, and paid visit by William Henry Harrison and Tecumseh.
